Appliance Repair Atlantic Highlands New Jersey

While we understand your frustration, fault codes are built in to the appliance controls to allow us to determine the failed part(s) or malfunction. There is no way to know what the "root cause" of the failure is. As for Kitchen Aid telling you it would be covered; if they were extending the warranty on your oven, it would be in their database, which it was not. So, the technician is correct in quoting you the cost of the repairs, as we have no other directive to dispute that. The control panels are expensive and although we try to have parts on hand, prior to visiting your home, pre-ordering an item of that expense, without the customer's ok, is not something we can, or will do, without knowing that the customer is willing to fix it.
