I was under the impression from Maytag/whirlpool headquarters in Michigan my washer would be fixed and I’d pay a fixed price for labor from Dan Marc of $144.95. The drive motor and wash basket which includes bearings has 10 yr warranty . Communication about the problem and what was to be done was not made clear by Michigan or danmarc. I was then told it was the transmission by your serviceman and the above fee is diagnostic fee just to come out . I suggest there should be better communication . The serviceman was polite and did get manager on phone for me .
