Jim is an excellent technician--very professional and courteous. You should advise all your techicians when the customer experiences a problem with Whirpool dryers going into "hourglass" icon and power shut down, the problem is the user is pressing and holding the power down button ( which sends the machine into power down reset mode) rather that lightly tapping the power button once. After Jim left, and several more hourglass shutdowns, we finally figured this very simple solution by sheer accident. A simple solution I wish I had known before calling for service. Never underestimate the users ability to not understand this Thanks again
