Over an hour passed without arrival; polite follow-ups at ~1:30 PM prompted a delayed update (“20 minutes” but “stuck on job”). My response was factual: noted the exceeded ETA, stated my time is as valuable as theirs, and sought clarification—no profanity, no rudeness.
The technician then called accusing me of starting “obnoxiously,” refused to proceed, and entered false notes on the ticket: “customer sent obnoxious text” (neither occurred—full timestamped iMessage screenshots available as evidence). Service was canceled (“Not going per Dave g”), misrepresenting the interaction to justify the failure.
A 3-hour window may be an estimate, but the tech provided a specific 30-minute promise, inducing reasonable reliance and action on my part. Failing to honor it, followed by defensive escalation and fabricated allegations, constitutes poor service and potential defamation in internal records. This aligns with documented patterns in public reviews: BBB shows 25+ complaints in 3 years (8 closed last 12 months), including repeated last-minute cancellations without explanation, unprofessional/ unreliable customer service, dismissive handling, and lack of accountability (e.g., multi-month appliance outages due to delays/no-shows). Yelp reviews echo rude/unhelpful staff, lies, incompetence, and defensive responses when issues arise.
I expect:
• Immediate correction/removal of false “obnoxious” and claims
