I was wholly unsatisfied with both my appointments with DanMarc. My first appointment was related to my oven keeping temperature over long usage sessions. While we were not able to duplicate the issue and the tech could find no error codes, he basically tried to explain to my wife how ovens and baking work in the most condescending way possible. My wife rightly told him he was wrong as our oven did not used to have this issue and no other ovens in our family that we use often for family parties have this problem. The second visit is because one of the burners on our stove clicks as we use it like it's constantly trying to start. It is intermittent and sometimes takes a bit of time to occur, but eventually does occur. While reproducing the problem was a challenge again, this was a much more clearly defined issue with clear symptoms we were able to convey to the tech. Other than offering to replace parts (not even specific parts that I can recall), he blamed it on the wind or air moving. He checked the seating of the burner top and that was it. It still clicks. Nothing else was checked. No other solutions were provided. Again, this is new behavior from the appliance that didn't used to occur and is not because of wind or a burner top being out of place. Though I can understand that the tech can only work with what he can see happen in front of him, his answers, though delivered professionally, were comically off base and provided nothing in the way of help to address the issue. To pay the money you have to pay for these appointments only to basically get told these problems are totally normal even though they are not is shocking and a total failure as far as I'm concerned. I would not recommend your service to anyone and the only reason I've given you 2 stars is because the tech was prompt and professional in his conduct.
