We had used Dan Marc before when our appliance was under warranty and appreciated their prompt professional service. This was before Covid! This time it took two weeks just to get a technician in to check what was wrong only to be told we needed a new motor. It took another 4 weeks to get the motor in. Eric, who installed the motor was on time and knew what he was doing. He fixed it in a jiffy. However, it seems Dan Marc has a technician shortage at this time. Businesses, across the board, have a lot of trouble finding workers nowadays and I guess Dan Marc was not spared by this epidemic side effect. Also, getting parts for appliances, I hear, is another problem, which explains the many weeks of wait for the motor. I hope once businesses are all back to normal Dan Marc will be back to its quality and prompt service. They are one of the few places that do not seem to price gouge you and are responsive to their customers.

Tech came per Whirlpool’s request to examine reported moisture in between glass doors of microwave months new. Took pictures and advised that they would be sent to Whirlpool for a determination of solution. Before leaving, tech said Whirlpool might consider it “cosmetic,” implying that if it’s cosmetic I’d have to live with it. Minutes after leaving, the tech left a voice message suggesting that I call Whirlpool directly to see whether I can convince them to change the door because they may conclude that the moisture is “cosmetic.” This all occurred on 7/30/21. In 7/31/21, I emailed supplemental photos of the moisture to DanMarc clearly showing that the issue was not a “cosmetic” issue and more akin to a seal leak. It is now 8/7/21, and I have still not received any communication from DanMarc or Whirlpool.
