Customer states running to long and everything freezing in refrigerator I put my thermometer and it showed refrigerator 40 degrees i took a bottle of water from a shelf and put my thermometer in that and it read 44 degrees and then i put thermometer in freezer it read 0 degrees I looked at settings and freezer was at -3 so i reset it to 0 refrigerator was set at 39 which is in line with temperature inside unit I saw no signs of frost or anything else wrong with unit She will monitor unit

Spoke to techline: 7731189434. Unit has 2-1 and 5-1 error code. Unit leaks when lower spray arm comes around and hits door. It pushes water over the front ledge of the tub. In diagnostic the diverter motor keeps turning and never finds a position. Unit has a failed diverter without any code for it. Advised to change sump asm since seal is jot available with diverter. Part number W10917114. Owner would like to stop here due to cost of repair.

Made checks something melted on heat element. cleared debris from element Advised to run on hi temp cycles and smell will slowly get less. If after multiple cycles smell is still strong order element W10703867.
