The first repairman Chris was great. He realized my washer likely needed replacement but wanted to do further tests which required the unit to be pulled away from wall ( required disconnects). I drove 180 miles RT to my summer home and I had 2nd visit from (2) repairman who did NOT pull unit away as planned. They essentially spent time talking and hanging out and went to van and came back and said this is "normal" noise. I was beyond upset . Now, I have to call Maytag again and ask for another visit - hoping its Chris - someone who took the time and wanted to properly diagnose the issues.

We're sorry you feel you weren't given the service you desired. Your first visit was to secure a defect in the way your dishwasher was installed. The last two were to instruct you on how the dishwasher is meant to function. The newer dishwashers do not have heaters in them, as the older designs did, to "dry" the dishes. We verified that the product is operating as it was designed. We can't make it do anymore than it is designed to do. We would refer you to the user and care guide and/or reach out to the mfg, should you feel the dishwasher is not functioning to your expectations. But ask that you attempt to follow the suggestions offered by the tech, as they should make your experience a better one

The tech explained to you, prior to beginning any work on your microwave, that there was an issue with the installation of the product and it needed to be addressed. You should have held the person who you paid to install it responsible for whatever costs you incurred. your warranty covers defects and/or failures of the product. It is not meant to cover incorrect installs, although he did take the time to point it out ahead of time.

The service fee of $122.00 was never mentioned to me until after the service was complete. The service person spent all of 20 minutes diagnosing my dishwasher issue (which wasn't an actual issue). Mind you, no actual labor was performed. I also had no idea who was coming to my home until I received the call stating that he was 20 minutes from my location. Also, please inform the service company that he or she should identify themselves when entering someone's home as I had to specifically request this information. I will not be using this service again.

Their call center agents are trained to let the consumer know the company that is coming to your home, the cost for that service and the date we will be coming there. Our company then contacts you via the number provided by them, the afternoon prior to the appointment, to give you the time wi dow our tech is expected to arrive. We then contact you when we are approximately 30.minutes from arrival, as a courtesy. We will ask Whirlpool to pull the recordings, so as to know if they've done what's expected, by informing the consumer who, when and what the costs are, so, in the event their rep did not follow through, they can use it as a training example, for their staff. We're sorry you feel as though you were not given this information, but we pay for that service through them, and do give the follow up reminder call, announcing our company and intentions, so I'm not sure if that information was related to you, from whomever received that call from the number provided

The moment I called to have my stove evaluated for the oven heating, I was granted an appointment almost immediately. The serviceman who came to appraise the situation called ahead of time to give me a more precise idea as to his time of arrival. Once in my home, he carefully checked my oven and diagnosed the problem. He had to order two parts and said he would return in two days to make the repair.
