While we understand your frustration, not being able to get an early AM appointment, our technicians run 10-12 stops per per and based on where the calls are for each day are automatically set in an order that is most efficient. Most customers would like to have an early AM or late PM appointment, but the reality is, we can't promise that because it runs us into situations where the overtime, fuel, etc., becomes excessive and that just isn't feasible.
As for the contacting you the day before, we certainly did send out the automated call at 2:37 on the 26th for the appointment on the 27th as promised to the only number we were provided by the mfg 860-428-4252.
As far as the shattered cooktop and the "five minutes" it took for us to do our job...we were hired to go out to your home and assess the product, a 15 year old cooktop. We were given no other information, other than a concession to come out and diagnose the issue. No model, serial or anything else. Our technician came to your home, retrieved the model and serial information, saw that the issue was, in fact, a damaged glass top. Upon searching for the availability, it was determined that the part itself was no longer available by the manufacturer. There was nothing more we could do at that point. We did as hired to do and have absolutely no control of how long a part(s) will remain inventoried by a company.
referring to us as a terrible company that does terrible service and shouldn't be in business is really not necessary as we did EXACTLY what we were hired to do. If you feel you were not cared for as you would have liked to be, other than you're not appreciating the fact that we have to honor over 500 appointments per day and need to be conscious of being efficient, in order to stay in business these days, which is something a GOOD business does properly, please let us know what we did to receive such a harsh review, so we can do our best to try to please the other 80k customers we service a year, for the last 35 years.
