First - the tech was good. Represented the company well.
BUT. We were forced to use Dan Marc by Whirlpool since our fridge was under warranty. Would have preferred someone local - which became important when north Jersey weather prevented our long awaited service to be rescheduled even further bc that weather was apparently icy while our central weather was just rain
Fridge is integral to life. This company could not care less. The attitude of staff was - the part gets here when it gets here. Take it or leave it. It took TWO WEEKS to get the part and get scheduled. Was told “maybe it’s coming from California”. Really? Maybe? Even so This shouldn’t be a slow boat process. 2 day air from California is quite reasonable to get a 3yo fridge going. And finally when we were scheduled no one showed. We called and were told an email the previous night was sent about ice and no service. Email address was wrong - certainly should have confirmed it with me. AND if your primary contact with a customer is phone call including confirmation of appointment the night before - then that’s how an important message should be delivered! Right away I said we need our fridge they came back and said they’d be there in ANOTHER WEEK! I repeated I needed my fridge and after much pushing and bristling on my part they came back with Monday (for a Thu missed appt). I asked for next day they said Monday with the - you want it or not - take it or leave it you need us we’re in control attitude. Never would I use this company again and I would surely dissuade anyone I know from using.
