Advised customer heater element covered in an 1/8 inch of calcium. This will cause smoking and burning smell when unit tries to heat the water and dry the dishes.

Unit needs replacement burner heads, orifice holders, fan switch, grommet and knob, cooktop glass, cooktop glass seal, and mounting screws. Burner heads, orifice holders, cooktop glass and seal covered by extended parts warranty. Customer responsible for cost of replacement fan switch, grommet and knob and total labor to replace parts. Gave customer estimate for repair. Asked customer how she would be paying for service charge ($125.76) and customer said that she is not paying for anything. Customer was advised prior to service call of c.o.d charges and was told by technician upon arrival that there would be a minimum charge of $117.95 + tax. At the end of service call when estimate was put together, customer refused to pay for service.
